The Difference Between Chemical Reactions and Physical Changes

Physical changes are often referred to as chemical reactions but as you will see in this article they sometimes are not…

You can always tell if a reaction is chemical or physical as they have some telltale features such as light, smell, sound, heat (decrease & increase) and gasses being produced.

Physical changes are also called State Changes (Solid, Liquid & Gas) and they may sometimes change colour temporarily, while being heated / cooled.

Some examples of physical changes include freezing water to get H2O[S]  or boiling water to get vapor H2O[G].

Can you think of any chemical reactions that you have made recently? Comment them down below!
